HOLY LAND: Feb. 16 - 28, 2018

Day 1 Arrival Friday 16th February 2018
Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Jordan. Hotel in Jordan (2 nights)
Day 2: Petra Saturday 17th February 2018
At Petra walk through the Siq to the Treasury. Climb up to the High Place of Sacrifice and enjoy spectacular views of Petra below.
Day 3: Mt. Nebo Sunday 18th February 2018
Visit Mt. Nebo, where Moses looked over into the Promised Land. Cross the Border into the Holy Land.
Day 4: Upper Galilee Monday 19th February 2018
Learn how the archaeology found at Magdala holds incredible significance for both Jews and Christians. Take a Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum, the town of Jesus, and see an ancient synagogue and the house of Peter. Go up to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Explore the mosaics at Tabgha, where Jesus miraculously multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed the crowds, and visit the Primacy of Peter. Hotel in Galilee (2 nights)
Day 5: Lower Galilee Tuesday 20th February 2018
In Nazareth we will visit the Basilica of Annunciation, the largest church in the Middle East, and also identified as the home of Mary. Visit Cana Wedding Church, where many believe Jesus performed his first miracle of turning the water into wine. Tour Nazareth Village, an open-air museum that reconstructs and reenacts village life in Galilee in the
time of Jesus.
Day 6: Coast Wednesday 21st February 2018
Drive through the Jezreel Valley to Meggido, the historical military fortress that controlled the highway between Egypt and Messopotamia. Caesarea is an ancient port built by Herod the Great. Visit the ruins of the fortress used by the Crusaders, the harbor, moat, and amphitheater. On Mt. Carmel, visit the Carmelite monastery and see the statue that reflects Elijah's victory over the prophets of Baal. Hotel in Bethlehem (3 nights)
Day 7: East Jerusalem and Bethlehem Thursday 22nd February 2018
This morning view the Old City from the summit of the Mount of Olives. Walk the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Go to Mt. Zion and visit the House of Caiaphas. Beneath this building is the Dungeon where Jesus imprisoned the night of his arrest. Visit the Upper Room, site of the Last Supper and Pentecost. In Bethlehem, visit the Church of the Nativity, traditional site of the birthplace of Jesus, and the Shepherds’ Fields.
Day 8: Old City of Jerusalem Friday 23rd February 2018
Enter the city at the Dung Gate and see the morning activities at the Western Wall. See Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock. After a brief stop at St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda, continue walking through the Old City streets exploring the different quarters.
Day 9: Jerusalem Saturday 24th February 2018
Begin with a visit to Ein Karim, birth place of John the Baptist and where Mary visited Elizabeth. Visit the Israeli Museum. Finish at the Garden Tomb, a beautiful spot to
remember the death and resurrection of our Savior. Hotel in Jerusalem (4 nights)
Day 10: Day of Rest Sunday 25th February 2018
This day is reserved as an opportunity to rest and spend time in reflection and private worship if desired. Or to explore the many other activities that are available for example: Walk the ramparts, visit the City of David and Hezekiah’s Tunnel or the Tower of David to name but a few. Or to visit some local Ministries or Churches.
Day 11: Dead Sea Monday 26th February 2018
In Jericho, the city of palm trees, we will visit the site of Canaanite Jericho destroyed by Joshua. We will taste the water from Elisha’s spring and view the Mount of Temptation.
Visit the mighty fortress of Masada. Our next stop will be the En Gedi a green oasis in the middle of the desert. In Qumran we will see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947.
Day 12: Samaria Tuesday 27th February 2018
Take the Old Patriarchs highway driving north to the city of Nablus to visit Jacob’s Well. This is where Jesus met the Samaritan Women and offered to give her Living Water.
On the way back visit Taybeh, Bethel and Shiloh.
Day 13: Departure Wednesday 28th February 2018
Today you will begin your journey home, filled with many fond memories of a trip of a lifetime.
